FOR THE 25TH EDITION OF THE MONTE CARLO RALLY!
Epernay will host the Monte-Carlo Historic Rally for the second year in a row on Thursday, January 26. Car enthusiasts will have the exclusive opportunity to see nearly 104 vintage sports cars drive through the Champagne Capital as part of a stage of the Historic Monte Carlo Rally.
This 25th edition, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco, will start from five European cities: Bad Homburg, Oslo, London, Turin and Reims.
With a stop for Epernay!
At the departure of the “Cité des Sacres” at about 7 pm, the competitors will head towards Langres by respecting three compulsory checkpoints: Epernay, Vitry-le-François and Bar-sur-Aube. The first sports car will arrive at about 7:30 pm at the level of the Museum of the wine of Champagne and regional Archaeology, on the avenue of Champagne, for a first check point. The vehicles will parade, at a rate of one passage per minute, on the famous artery of Epernay until 9.40 pm.
The competitors will arrive in Langres, and then head for the south of France. They will be welcomed in Monaco on Friday, January 27. The competition will end on Wednesday, February 1.
