streamline our organization, professionalize our practices, and ensure a high-quality experience for our visitors.<\/p><p>In 2026, the Tourist Office aims to obtain the \u201cDestination d\u2019Excellence\u201d certification, which is gradually replacing the \u201cQualit\u00e9 Tourisme\u2122\u201d label by incorporating stricter requirements regarding quality and sustainable Awarded by the Ministry of Tourism, this rating is based on rigorous standards designed to evaluate the quality of hospitality and services provided to visitors. <b>The Epernay en Champagne Tourist Office ( <\/b>ATOUT FRANCE Registration No. IM051120002)<b> was classified as Category 1 by Prefectural Order on April 2, 2024<\/b>. D\u00e9couvertes<\/li><\/ul><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epernay-tourisme.com\/espace-pro\/les-labels-touristiques\/label-vignobles-decouvertes\/\">The Vignobles &#038; D\u00e9couvertes label<\/a> is a national certification program created in 2009 by Atout France that aims to promote wine-tourism destinations in France and high-quality wine-tourism experiences. It recognizes the full range of complementary wine tourism services available at these destinations\u2014including wineries, lodging, restaurants, cultural sites, and activities\u2014to ensure visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience. The label promotes networking among local members and helps enhance the tourist appeal of wine-growing regions. Awarded for a three-year term, the label currently includes 72 certified professionals in our destination.   <\/p><ul><li><b>Accueil V\u00e9lo (Bikes welcome label)<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p>A national certification that guarantees high-quality hospitality and services along cycling routes for touring cyclists. An \u201cAccueil V\u00e9lo\u201d establishment can be a lodging facility, a bike rental or repair shop, a tourist office, a tourist attraction, a restaurant, and more.This certification helps promote active transportation and more sustainable tourism. Epernay Agglo Champagne and our Tourist Office will be launching a certification initiative across the region.    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epernay-tourisme.com\/espace-pro\/les-labels-touristiques\/label-accueil-velo\/\">Learn about the Accueil V\u00e9lo certification <\/a><\/p><ul><li><b>Tourisme &#038; Handicap (Tourism for disabled people label)<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p>The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games have accelerated progress toward accessibility in France. It is essential to maintain this momentum to ensure it becomes a lasting asset. <br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epernay-tourisme.com\/espace-pro\/les-labels-touristiques\/label-tourisme-handicap\/\">The \u201cTourisme &#038; Handicap\u201d label,<\/a> managed by Atout France, encourages tourism professionals to offer accessible services and guarantees an inclusive experience. Given the large target audience, expanding this initiative is key to enhancing the appeal of France and the Champagne region. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epernay-tourisme.com\/en\/activite\/facil-e-bike-bike-rental-at-the-epernay-en-champagne-tourist-office-and-delivery-to-your-place-of-stay\/\">Facil-e-bike in \u00c9pernay<\/a> offers an accessible and community-oriented biking option for seniors and people with disabilities. <\/p><ul><li><b>Accommodation Ratings<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atout-france.fr\/fr\/classement-des-hebergements-touristiques\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The classification system for tourist accommodations<\/a> (hotels, campgrounds, vacation apartments, resort villages, etc.) is designed to meet increasingly high customer expectations, with star ratings remaining a key benchmark. This distinction marks the culmination of a long process of cataloging and promoting its cultural heritage. By joining the prestigious network of \u201cCities and Regions of Art and History,\u201d the City of \u00c9pernay is committed to fostering an innovative approach to heritage that aligns with current and future expectations, and to continuing to develop and make accessible a diverse range of cultural offerings (guided tours, publications, exhibitions, lectures, etc.) for a broad audience (residents, young people, and tourists). With the support of numerous local partners, the \u201cCity of Art and History\u201d designation serves as a powerful vehicle for promoting the city of Epernay and enhancing its appeal.   <\/p><ul><li><b>Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company label) <\/b><\/li><\/ul><p>Created in 2005, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entreprises.gouv.fr\/espace-entreprises\/s-informer-sur-la-reglementation\/le-label-entreprise-du-patrimoine-vivant-epv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cEntreprise du Patrimoine Vivant<\/a> \u201d (EPV) label recognizes French companies\u2014whether artisanal or industrial\u2014that are renowned for their rare expertise and excellence. Among our partners holding this label are: the Champagne houses Gosset in \u00c9pernay and Pommery in Reims, Biscuits Fossier in Pierry and Reims, Chantelle in \u00c9pernay, Tonnellerie de Champagne in Hermonville, and others&#8230; <\/p><ul><li><b>Petites cit\u00e9s de caract\u00e8re (Small towns with character)<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p>The &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petitescitesdecaractere.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Petites Cit\u00e9s de Caract\u00e8re\u00ae<\/a> &#8221; concept was created in the mid-1970s to highlight unique towns that are both rural in terms of their location and small population, and urban in terms of their history and heritage. In our destination, the town of Vertus (C\u00f4te des Blancs) qualifies for this designation. <\/p><ul><li><b>Villes et Villages fleuris<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><a href=\"https:\/\/villes-et-villages-fleuris.com\/un-label-historique\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This certification recognizes <\/a>communities that provide a pleasant living environment for their residents and visitors. This distinction (ranging from 1 to 4 Flowers), displayed on signs at the entrances to towns, enhances their appeal.
