Why go there?

A self-taught painter based in Epernay, I develop a contemporary pictorial practice focused on female portraits. My work is characterised by strong, recognisable compositions, combining deep contrasts, expressive treatment of faces and symbolic use of light and shadow. Through my creations, I explore the intimacy, inner power and emotional complexity of femininity.
