Over 3 days, come and discover the wine territories through numerous quality activities close to the vineyard and the winegrower. For a weekend, discover the prestigious vineyards of Champagne. An oenofestive program awaits you for a real oenotouristic immersion!

A cocktail reception, banquet, and market in an exceptional location

On Friday 17 October, Château Comtesse Lafond will provide an exceptional setting for these colourful gourmet events, which form part of the celebrations marking 100 years of the Avenue de Champagne and 10 years since the Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A unique, gourmet, festive and immersive experience, in the presence of winegrowers from all over Champagne, local artisans, musicians, actors and creators.

On the Creators market, meet our partners: Jack-Mod, l’Asinerie de Pes Vitis, Ça cartonne, Atelier Vagabonde, Dioniso, and Handwood.

During the weekend of 18th and 19th October, the Epernay Tourist Office in Champagne and its partners are offering the following at the Domaine Comtesse Lafond:

Un marché « Champagnes, Saveurs & Savoir-faire au Château » : producteurs, artisans et créateurs.

A unique weekend where the elegance of Domaine Comtesse Lafond champagnes, savoury and sweet local delicacies, art and craftsmanship will blend perfectly with the majesty of the surroundings!

Producers and creators will share their unique expertise and offer products that are emblematic of our destination. Demonstrations, activities and tastings will punctuate the journey.

Meet our partners for gourmet pleasures: Les Caillots d’Epernay, Maison Dallet, La Ferme des MP, Signorini Tartufi, La Distillerie Guillon, and L’Ancre de Djo; and for visual delight and well-being with original creations by: Jack-Mod, L’Asinerie de Pes Vitis, AD Christo, Dioniso, L’Atelier Vagabonde, and Tonnellerie Piccoli.

A selection of wines and liqueurs from the various estates owned by Baron de Ladoucette will be available for tasting in the showroom.

Oysters and light seafood snacks will also delight visitors.

An event open to all, organised by the Epernay Tourist Office in Champagne.

  • Sunday, 19 October 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    (And Friday, 17 October 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for cocktail party attendees)

Guided tasting workshops: ‘Terroir, Aromatics and Emotions’

Guided tasting of three exceptional vintages produced by the Comtesse Lafond estate, accompanied by delicious appetisers:

  • Champagne Private Comtesse 2016 & Scallop Carpaccio, lemon zest, olive oil / Alternative*: Grapefruit
  • Champagne Comtesse Lafond Vintage 2014 & Foie gras / Alternative*: Seasonal fruit compote
  • Champagne Comtesse Lafond Rosé & Figues fraîches

(*alternative autour des fruits pour les personnes végétariennes, ou présentant des allergies ou des intolérances)

In the castle grounds or in a private room on the estate, during this wine tasting guided by an expert, Karen from AMORESCENCE, you will fully appreciate the aromatic qualities of a selection of champagnes that stand out for their character and finesse.

    3:00 p.m.: in English
  • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • €35 per person aged 18 and over
  • Free fruit juice and sweets for children under 18.

  • By car: parking available at the Domaine car park, 80 avenue de Champagne;
  • On foot: a 20-minute walk along the majestic Avenue de Champagne – entrance at 79 Avenue de Champagne;
  • Free round-trip shuttle service (max. 8 people) provided by our partner
    Taxis & Navettes Doua:
    • Departing from the Epernay Tourist Office in Champagne every 30 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays;
    • Return trips from Comtesse Lafond every 30 minutes from 11:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Saturdays and from 11:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Sundays.

Le Fascinant Week-end becomes Vignobles en Scène

To promote the Vignobles & Découvertes de France label, the Vignobles en Scène event is taking over from the Fascinating Weekend, organised every year on the 3rd weekend in October.

This not-to-be-missed event for wine tourism enthusiasts in search of new experiences is strengthening its image around 3 collections of events:

  • Les Gustatives: tastings and food and wine pairings to tantalise your taste buds
  • Les Immersives: immerse yourself in the world of winegrowers, from the vineyard to the cellar, with plenty to discover.
  • Les Créatives: wine combined with the performing arts or meditation sessions – the partners with the label are full of original ideas.
