Champagne Eric Taillet

The Taillet family has been working their vines for over a century, but it wasn't until 1961 that they began making their own Champagnes. Now in his 4th generation, Eric Taillet is a creator of emotion with a single priority: exceptional harvests for exceptional Champagne. He now works with his children, Dylan and Léna Taillet.
The relationship between the soil and the cuvée is the main thrust of our philosophy today. Trying to transmit the energy of the soil to the consumer through the bubbles. Our passion for the soil has led us to make fundamental changes to our vine-growing methods (pruning system, vine height, soil cultivation methods, vitiforestry, planting young trees taken from the estate, etc.).
Meunier, the emblematic grape variety of the Taillet estate, is grown only in very old vines on living clay soils and limestone, flint and clay subsoils.
