The Choir of Sartene - Corsican Polyphonies

The Sartène Men's Choir was founded by Jean-Paul Poletti in 1995.

Composed of six men, the group constantly invents musical spaces within classical forms, drawing on the past but with a contemporary inspiration.

The Choir dreams of inscribing Mediterranean polyphony into the history of classical music; this is no longer a utopian vision. In the Corsican musical landscape, the Choir occupies a unique position, its classically trained singers bringing a distinctive sound to traditional polyphony.
