Esprit de Champagne

Esprit de Champagne, the annual meeting event for the last 30 years, from May to December!

As soon as you arrive at the Tourist Office, meet our partners! They’ll be delighted to invite you to taste their products and try out their activities.

 

Fancy setting off on a tour of discovery? Take a seat in a minibus and head off to a winery or tourist site. Departure and return are from the Tourist Office or the Epernay Municipal Campsite.

Habits de Lumière 2025

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Avenue de Champagne and the 10th anniversary of the Coteaux, Maisons and Caves of Champagne being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Les Habits de Lumière invites you to join them on 12, 13 and 14 December 2025.
On the programme: two dazzling evenings on Friday and Saturday with video mappings, parades and fireworks displays, a gastronomic day on Saturday for young and old alike, and a retro morning with a parade of vintage cars.
Programme to be announced in November.

Exhibition : Et soudain le champagne !

The Champagne Wine and Regional Archaeology Museum in Epernay invites you to discover a unique exhibition on the representations, uses and sociability of champagne.
From 15 October 2025 to 6 April 2026, come and discover little-known aspects of this famous beverage that embodies the values of celebration and sharing.
This exhibition is being held to mark the 100th anniversary of the Avenue de Champagne and the 10th anniversary of its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

It's raining, what can I do ?

Autumn is here, and you’re looking for things to do when it rains?

Cellars are obviously the ideal refuge from the weather: come and explore the underground labyrinth where champagne bottles rest, accompanied by passionate guides or winegrowers.

You can also enjoy vehicle tours of the vineyards to admire the leaves turning red in the autumn light. It’s a great opportunity to discover the Champagne region from a different angle.

Finally, museums are opening their doors for workshops and interactive, enriching tours.

In the heart of the Champagne region, the champagne capital Epernay enjoys an exceptional location. It is only 1h30 from Paris and Belgium, and 3h from Germany and England. Situated in the centre of some 34,000 hectares of vineyards, it is also 27 km from Reims, 31 km from Châlons-en-Champagne and 48 km from Château-Thierry.

There are various means of transport available if you want to get to our beautiful region!
