Les Faux De Verzy

A trail starting from the Pins or Faux car parks allows visitors to observe them in their natural forest environment. The Faux de Verzy site welcomes thousands of visitors every year, and everything has been designed to preserve these rare plants as much as possible.With their winding branches, sometimes slender, sometimes dome-shaped, the Faux de Verzy are the stars of the Verzy State Forest. They are a variety of twisted beech trees with very recognisable gnarled trunks, a real enigma for scientists.
