Come and escape to an exceptional setting at the Domaine du Champagne Mandois, winemakers since 1735 You will be offered a guided tour of a state-of-the-art winery and these 18th-century cellars

1. The experience begins outside the Galerie Parcellaire, where you can admire its contemporary architecture, followed by a photo opportunity.

2. We will then walk past the village church, providing an opportunity to discuss the history of the House, its identity closely linked to Chardonnay, and its commitment to organic viticulture.

3. The tour continues in the winery with the settling room, where we will see the press and the belons, and then explain the role of indigenous yeasts. At the ‘Vieux Pressoir’, we will see the stages of primary fermentation and ageing, as well as our plot-by-plot approach using small batches and a variety of materials.

4. We will then head to our 18th-century vaulted cellars. At the ‘Mur des Clos’, a photo stop is a must before we discuss wine ageing and riddling.

5. After passing by the wine library, we’ll discover our impressive containers before heading to the cellar dedicated to Mandois Ratafia, a recently created space showcasing this unique wine, made predominantly from Chardonnay.

6. The tour continues with the 1913 winery, the estate’s first winery, founded by Claude Mandois’s great-grandfather and recently renovated.

7. Finally, we explore the Galerie Parcellaire, a unique space dedicated to bespoke winemaking. We’ll discover its history and have the chance to look down over the tulips or the casks, before concluding with a premium, completely private tasting in the room opposite the gallery.
