Description

This private half-day guided excursion combines an electric bike ride through the Champagne vineyards with a scenic canal cruise.

The experience begins in Aÿ-Champagne with a short introduction to the electric bikes. The guide then leads the group through the village streets and into the vineyard slopes classified as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Champagne landscape. The route also passes through Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, offering panoramic views over the Marne Valley.

During the ride, the guide shares insights into the terroir, grape varieties, vineyard work and the history of Champagne.

The second part of the experience takes place aboard a historic boat dating from 1927, cruising along the Marne lateral canal. From the water, guests can admire the vineyards from a completely different perspective.

A glass of Champagne is served during the cruise.

The tour then returns to Aÿ-Champagne.

Total duration: approximately 3 hours.

Participants

From 2 to 6 participants Group size is intentionally limited to ensure a comfortable and personal experience. The excursion runs with a minimum of 2 participants.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure Participants must be able to ride a bicycle safely and independently (e-bikes are heavier than regular bikes) The organizer reserves the right to refuse participation if cycling ability is insufficient Maximum rider weight: 120 kg (according to bike specifications) In all cases, cancellation or modification will result in a 5% fee to cover banking and administrative costs. Cancellation or modification is possible up to 7 days before the start of the rental. Cancellation or modification less than 7 days before the start of the rental is not possible and is not refundable except in the event of proven adverse weather conditions. Cancellation or modification due to proven adverse weather conditions (wind with gusts of more than 80 km/h, rain or snow storm) is possible at the sole discretion of the Pedal 'N' Pop.
