Description

This half-day guided excursion offers a unique opportunity to discover the landscapes of Aÿ-Champagne by electric bike and taste different Champagnes open air in the Vineyard, while learning about the region’s prestigious vineyards.

After a short introduction to the bikes, the guide leads the group through the streets of the village and into the vineyard slopes classified as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Champagne landscape. The route follows scenic vineyard roads with sweeping views over the Marne Valley.

Several stops along the way provide insights into the organization of the vineyard, the characteristics of the terroir and the traditional methods used to produce Champagne.

A special tasting stop takes place directly in the vineyards in a beautiful natural setting overlooking the valley.

Guests enjoy two Grand Cru Champagnes, accompanied by explanations about grape varieties, blending and style.

The tour then returns to the starting point in Aÿ-Champagne.

Total duration: approximately 3 hours.

Participants must be able to ride a bicycle safely and independently. Electric bikes are heavier than standard bicycles. The organizer reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not demonstrate sufficient cycling ability. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Maximum rider weight: 120 kg (according to bike specifications). In all cases, cancellation or modification will result in a 5% fee to cover banking and administrative costs. Cancellation or modification is possible up to 7 days before the start of the rental. Cancellation or modification less than 7 days before the start of the rental is not possible and is not refundable except in the event of proven adverse weather conditions. Cancellation or modification due to proven adverse weather conditions (wind with gusts of more than 80 km/h, rain or snow storm) is possible at the sole discretion of the Pedal 'N' Pop.
