Eglise De Clamanges
Why go there?
The Church of Clamanges dates from the 14th century and was partly destroyed at the beginning of the 15th century. Its 19th century bell tower has twice been struck by lightning. It served as a military hospital during the Battle of the Marne in 1914.
Its choir is decorated with a painted stone altarpiece depicting the Assumption of the Virgin, listed as a Historic Monument.
